On Thursday, March 26, 2020, Abbey Park High School will be hosting its second annual TEDx conference from 8:30 am to 5:30 pm. Thirteen inspirational students from across the Halton Region will be delivering speeches on the theme “Solutions for the 21st century”. Speech topics range from empowering problem solvers, new medical advances and lowering the voting age.

Attendees of the event will hear thought-provoking TEDx speeches, take part in various interactive activities and listen to keynote speeches from Ontario’s Lieutenant Governor, Elizabeth Dowdeswell, and a Juno-nominated artist. Additionally, we have partnered with Mohawk College to provide the audience with a ground-breaking virtual reality experience that is unique to our TEDx conference.

If you are interested in purchasing tickets to the event, I would encourage you to do so quickly – seating at the conference is extremely limited. You can find more information about tickets and purchase seats at the event HERE.

If you believe that someone you know may be interested in this event, please feel free to forward this email to them. If you have any questions about the event, please reach out to me at andreiad2002@gmail.com or email our organizing committee at tedxabbeypark@gmail.com and we’ll happily answer.
